Registered Nurse

The ideal candidate for this Registered Nurse position will have a strong background in critical care nursing and be able to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be able to work effectively in a team setting, communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members, and demonstrate a commitment to providing excellent patient care.
Responsibilities:
• Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
• Develop and implement individualized patient care plans, taking into account the patient's medical history, physical condition, and cultural background.
• Collaborate with other healthcare team members to ensure that patients receive comprehensive and coordinated care.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes and reduce medical errors.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including documentation of patient care, medications, and test results.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure that patients receive the care they need.
• Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices in critical care nursing.
Requirements:
Education/Skills
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, preferred.
Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of combined experience required in both the Critical Care setting and one other specialty (e.g. Medsurg, Telemetry, IMC or Emergency).
- 5 years of experience preferred.
Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications
- BLS required.
- ACLS required.
- RN License in state of employment or compact required.
