Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Early Intervention Specialist to join our team at Pee Dee Professional Intervention Services, LLC. As an Early Intervention Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing intensive developmental instruction and Service Coordination for parents, caregivers, and their children with developmental delays.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized developmental instruction and support to children with developmental delays, focusing on areas such as communication, fine motor, gross motor, and self-help skills.
  • Collaborate with families to develop and implement personalized intervention plans, ensuring that services are tailored to meet the unique needs of each child.
  • Conduct home visits and provide support to families in their natural environment, promoting a seamless transition between home and community settings.
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to assess and address the needs of children and families, ensuring that services are coordinated and effective.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community resources and agencies, ensuring that families have access to a comprehensive range of services and support.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Social Work, Psychology, Human Development, Family Studies, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience working with children with developmental delays, preferably in an Early Intervention setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with families, colleagues, and community partners.
  • Ability to travel to clients' homes and community settings, with a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
