Molecular Biology Research Scientist

We are seeking a highly skilled Molecular Biology Scientist to join our team at Alloy Therapeutics. As a key member of our antibody discovery team, you will be responsible for collaborating with experienced drug discovery experts to identify potential life-saving therapeutics.
Key Responsibilities- Discovery: Utilize cutting-edge molecular biology techniques to isolate antigen-specific B cells from transgenic mice, leading to the discovery of novel therapeutic monoclonal antibodies.
- Innovation: Develop and implement innovative molecular technologies to enhance the antibody discovery process.
- Organization: Maintain complex workflows, reagents, and samples with a high attention to detail, ensuring seamless collaboration across teams.
- Collaboration: Work closely with a diverse team of scientists to achieve shared objectives and drive the discovery of life-changing medicines.
- Communication: Effectively communicate novel antibody findings and their functional properties to the team, ensuring seamless integration into the discovery workflow.
- PhD in a relevant field with 2+ years of biotech/pharma industry experience, or BS/MS in a relevant field with 5+ years of biotech/pharma experience.
- Hands-on experience independently running RT-PCR, gene cloning, and expression vector design.
- Experience working in a fast-paced and highly collaborative team environment.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Fluency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; SnapGene and Geneious Prime a plus.
- Experience with LIMS and/or ELN platforms, such as Benchling or similar.
- Ability to work across various US and international time zones.
