Outpatient Services Director Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Outpatient Director to join our team at Kairos. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for assisting in the day-to-day operations of our Outpatient Services in all locations.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in ensuring compliance with state, federal, and local regulations, as well as Joint Commission accreditation requirements.
- Manage the system of care for multiple service delivery mechanisms.
- Maintain effective utilization of program services and ensure compliance with agency clinical practice, government, and insurance company reimbursement policies.
- Supervise and train staff, including direct clinical and administrative supervision.
- Conduct annual administrative performance appraisals for direct supervisees.
- Attend to job performance of all program staff and provide observations and coaching to appropriate supervisors.
- Guide, assist, and direct program staff in completing QI projects in collaboration with the QI Director.
- Provide supervision for interns and candidates for licensure in Oregon as assigned.
- Demonstrate knowledge of all applicable Oregon Administrative Rules (OAR) and Behavior Rehabilitation Services (BRS) Rules.
- Act as a resource for staff on regulations and policies and procedures as they pertain to day-to-day operation of outpatient programs.
- Review potential cases of fraud, abuse, or mis-utilization in coordination with Clinical Supervisor and refer to Outpatient Services Director for further investigation.
- Must be licensed in a clinical field (LCSW/LPC/LMFT, etc.) and have three years post-licensure experience in direct mental health service delivery.
- Two years supervisory experience preferred.
- Must demonstrate the ability to conduct an assessment, including identifying precipitating events, gathering histories of mental and physical health, substance abuse, past mental health services and criminal justice contacts, assessing family, cultural, social and work relationships, conducting a mental status examination, complete a DSM diagnosis, write and supervise the implementation of a Service Plan, and provide individual, family or group therapy within the scope of their training.
- Must demonstrate the ability to provide comprehensive trainings on topics within their scope of training and practice to agency staff as well as community partners when appropriate and assigned.
- Must demonstrate competence with public speaking, community outreach efforts, and networking to promote program-specific and agency-wide initiatives.
Required to travel extensively between sites and spend at least two days a week at our Coos Bay location.
