Machine Learning Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Machine Learning Engineer to join our dynamic team at Wimmer Solutions. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing machine learning models using TensorFlow, torchvision, and YOLOv8 to solve complex problems and improve our product offerings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop machine learning models using TensorFlow, torchvision, and YOLOv8.
  • Deploy and manage machine learning models in production environments using Docker.
  • Optimize the performance of ML models, utilizing CUDA 12 where applicable, to enhance computation speed and efficiency.
  • Work closely with software engineers, data scientists, and DevOps teams to integrate machine learning models into applications and services.
  • Manage and preprocess large datasets to ensure high-quality input data for model training and evaluation.
  • Implement rigorous testing and validation procedures to ensure model accuracy, robustness, and reliability.
  • Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation of model development processes, deployment workflows, and optimization techniques.
  • Stay current with the latest advancements in machine learning, deep learning, and related technologies to continuously improve and innovate our ML capabilities.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in machine learning engineering, with a focus on deploying models in production environments.
  • Proficiency in ML libraries such as TensorFlow and torchvision.
  • Strong experience with Docker for containerization and deployment of ML models.
  • Solid understanding of machine learning algorithms and data structures.
  • Proficiency in Python programming language.
  • Familiarity with ML frameworks, libraries, and tools commonly used in the industry.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with CUDA 12 for GPU-accelerated computing.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and other DevOps practices related to machine learning model deployment.

We offer a competitive hourly contract rate range of $90.00 - $115.00 based on experience and qualifications, as well as geographical market and business considerations.
