Donation Attendant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Donation Attendant. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the efficient and cost-effective operation of our store, maximizing revenue generation to support our mission.

• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting donors and customers, answering questions, and assisting with basic needs.
• Sort and process donations according to company guidelines, ensuring accurate tracking and counting.
• Load and unload merchandise from trucks, trailers, and store areas, maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
• Assist in training and development of store team members, clients, and volunteers.
• Perform janitorial tasks as assigned, maintaining a clean and safe workspace.
• Work collaboratively with the team to meet production standards, deadlines, and guidelines.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Pass skills and knowledge assessment testing.
• Pass drug test and criminal background check.

The physical demands of this role include the ability to twist, bend, squat, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, push, and pull. The employee must be able to lift up to 40 pounds and team lift or use equipment to aid in the lifting and movement of items over 40 pounds. The work environment is indoors with occasional exposure to outside temperatures and occupational allergens.
