**Role Overview:**
We are seeking a Technical Support Expert to join our team at Geolog. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support to our operations team, including installation and maintenance of mobile laboratory equipment.
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, with experience in electronics or instrumentation. You will also need to be able to work independently, with minimal supervision, and be comfortable with travel to remote locations.
**Key Responsibilities include:
- Installation and testing of mobile laboratory equipment
- Maintenance and repair of damaged equipment
- Field support, including training and assistance to crew members
- Inventory management and store organization
- Technical documentation and reporting
**Requirements:**
- Associate's degree in electronics or instrumentation
- Minimum 2 years' prior experience as a technician
- Familiarity with Windows-based software and hardware
- Able to pass a medical exam for working in the oil and gas offshore industry
- Valid US driving license
- Fluent English language skills
