Job Summary

Delta-T Group is seeking motivated professionals to work as Direct Support Professionals in the Arlington and Alexandria, VA areas. As a Direct Support Professional, you will provide support and assistance to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, including those with physical disabilities or medical and behavioral challenges.

**Responsibilities:**

* Assist individuals with their daily activities, perform light housekeeping, run errands, and provide companionship
* Provide a secure and responsive environment that enables individuals to maximize their physical, emotional, intellectual, and spiritual capabilities
* Provide independent living skills training, and guidance to residents regarding social skills, transportation, health, and personal hygiene, food preparation, and housekeeping
* Provide patient care, update records, and accurately complete forms
* Transport and accompany individuals to appointments, community events, and outings

**Requirements:**

* High School Diploma or its equivalent
* Medication Technician certification
* Demonstrated ability to follow written and/or oral instructions, administer medications, and document dosages and times
* Valid Driver's License and acceptable driving record
* Willingness and ability to interact with clients and individuals in a positive manner within and throughout the community
