Position Overview

This role involves conducting audits under supervision. The responsibilities encompass active engagement in all stages of audit initiatives, including planning, execution, and reporting.

This position will support the identification of areas for improvement and provide recommendations to management regarding corrective measures to enhance processes, ensuring effective compliance and financial oversight.

Key Responsibilities

1. Execute audits pertaining to internal controls over financial reporting, regulatory adherence, and operational procedures.

2. Document management's processes and evaluate controls through walkthroughs, observations, and inquiries.

3. Develop high-quality written outputs, including workpapers and audit reports, detailing the scope, methodologies employed, findings, and conclusions.

4. Maintain current knowledge of Adtalem's operational processes.

5. Collaborate closely with external auditors to synchronize on scope, timing, reliance strategies, and the delivery of working papers.


6. Communicate proactively within the Internal Audit department to keep the team informed of changes (organizational, audit outcomes, upcoming initiatives, staffing).
