About the Role

Groups: Recover Together is a rapidly growing, mission-driven healthcare company that provides evidence-based treatment for Opioid Use Disorder. We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Staff Provider to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality direct care to members, including medical assessments, treatment planning, and medication management.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary care team, including substance abuse counselors, office managers, and peer recovery coaches.
  • Utilize telemedicine extensively in your work, requiring comfort with technology and enthusiasm for its benefits.
  • Develop and maintain a panel of patients, reviewing their care plan and medication management at each medical visit, or more often as necessary.
  • Sign all prescriptions on the same business day that they are generated.
  • Coordinate with community providers or agencies to support members, as necessary.
  • Provide regular coverage for make-up groups and makeup 1:1 sessions.
  • Participate in the rotating on-call schedule of urgent prescription coverage.
  • Facilitate access to the State's prescription drug monitoring database so Groups staff can regularly monitor members' access to controlled substances, per Recover Together's clinical protocols.
Requirements
  • Advanced Nurse Practitioner with active, unencumbered Florida medical license and appropriate behavioral health or addiction medicine NPI taxonomy.
  • Willingness and ability to obtain additional licenses in other states (no background issues that could limit state licensing or credentialing).
  • Willingness and ability to become credentialed with all government and private health plans with whom Groups Recover Together is in network.
  • Ability and willingness to see members in-person at pre-agreed upon locations based upon Florida Regulations.
  • Minimum of 1.5 years experience managing OUD with buprenorphine, preferred.
  • At least 1 year experience working in a team-based-care setting with behavioral health providers (therapists, social workers, case managers, etc.).
  • At least 1 year experience working with a similar member population, preferably within primary care or behavioral health setting.
