Job Summary

The Registered Nurse is a vital member of our healthcare team, providing patient-centered care in a family-centered environment. As a Labor and Delivery Nurse, you will work closely with our experienced team to deliver high-quality care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care under the direction of the Charge RN, Clinical Coordinator/Supervisor, and/or the Director of the Center for Women's Health/NICU.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
  • Assist with deliveries and provide postpartum care to new mothers.
Requirements
  • Current license from the Kentucky Board of Nursing.
  • BLS certification required upon hire.
  • ACLS and NRP certification required within 6 months post-hire.
  • STABLE certification preferred.
  • Department certification(s)/education as required for position.
