Key Responsibilities:

Software Design and Development:

  • Architect, design, and implement high-quality software solutions utilizing Core Java, Spring Boot, and microservices.
  • Establish standard processes and design patterns to guarantee robust and scalable solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements, delivering technical solutions that align with business objectives.

Product Lifecycle Management:

  • Oversee the product lifecycle from inception to launch, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer requirements.
  • Define product vision, strategy, and roadmap in partnership with stakeholders.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to pinpoint opportunities for product improvements.
  • Prioritize features, create user stories, and maintain a well-organized product backlog.
  • Coordinate with development teams to ensure timely delivery of product releases.

Cloud Services Management:

  • Leverage AWS services to deploy, manage, and scale applications.
  • Ensure the security, performance, and reliability of cloud-based solutions.

Telecommunications Expertise (Preferred):

  • Utilize domain knowledge to offer insights and solutions tailored to the telecommunications sector.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies in telecommunications.

Qualifications:

  • 8-12 years of experience in software development with a strong emphasis on Core Java, Spring Boot, and microservices.
  • Extensive experience with AWS services and cloud computing.
  • Strong product management capabilities with experience in overseeing the complete product lifecycle.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Experience in the telecommunications sector is advantageous.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile environments.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
  • Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.

The annual salary for this position is competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
