About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Technician to join our team at Penske Truck Leasing. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance and repairs on our fleet of vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements
  • Diagnose and repair complex issues with diesel engines, transmissions, and other vehicle systems
  • Work independently and as part of a team to complete repairs and maintenance tasks
  • Use advanced diagnostic tools and technologies to troubleshoot and repair vehicle issues
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry developments and technologies through ongoing training and education
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in diesel engine repair and maintenance
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred
  • ASE Certification and 608/609 certifications a plus
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
