The Opportunity

Our Corporate Engineering team is vital to the performance, profitability, and continued growth of the Primient business. Across Engineering, we are exploring new and better ways to harness data, improve decision-making, and add value while optimizing the investment we are making our plants and people.

We are looking for an intern for 11 weeks for the summer of 2025. The intern will assist with the development of capital spending forecasts, collect and analyze data on completed and ongoing capital projects, identify trends and patterns in project costs and timelines, develop and refine cost estimation models, prepare reports and presentations on findings, and assist with the development of capital spending forecasts.

About You

Pursuing a Bachelor's in Chemical Engineering or Master's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Strong analytical and data management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data visualization tools. Excellent attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

What We Offer

This internship will provide you with a comprehensive understanding of our Corporate Engineering processes within a dynamic business environment. You will develop practical skills in reporting and analysis - helping to further streamline the business and help in the decision making of our major capital projects, while working alongside experienced professionals in the field.

This internship comes with an hourly rate of $23.00 /hr., a $3000 Housing/Travel stipend, and you will receive professional development through the 11-week program.

Requirements

This is a 40 hour per week/Full Time role. This role is On-site - which means 5 days a week in our Schaumburg IL, Office. There is no guarantee of full-time placement at the conclusion of this internship. Must possess valid work authorization for the US. We are not offering sponsorship for this role.
