Job Description

">

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Accountant to manage key financial functions within our organization. This role will report directly to the CFO and will be a critical part of the finance team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Oversee daily accounting operations, including the preparation and maintenance of general ledgers, journal entries, and account reconciliations.">
  • Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.">
  • Prepare financial statements and provide insightful variance analysis to management.">
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.">
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and accounting standards (GAAP).">
  • Review accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring accuracy and timely processing of payments and receipts.">
  • Collaborate with the CFO on financial strategy and operational improvements.">
  • Support the annual audit process and coordinate with external auditors.">
  • Assist with cash flow management, including monitoring of cash positions and forecasting cash needs.">
  • Maintain and improve accounting processes and controls for efficiency and accuracy.">
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to junior accounting staff as needed.">

Qualifications:

  • ">
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or MBA a plus).">
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role.">
  • Proven experience with QuickBooks, including report generation, reconciliations, and troubleshooting.">
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting best practices.">
  • Previous experience in a private equity-backed or rapidly growing organization is a plus.">
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.">
  • High attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.">
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.">
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to evolving business needs.">
