Key Responsibilities- Function in the scrub role on surgical procedures, working collaboratively with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and satisfaction.
- Prepare and maintain the sterile field, adhering to strict infection control protocols.
- Participate in maintaining the readiness of the Operating Room, ensuring that all equipment and supplies are available and functioning properly.
- Maintain a professional work environment, demonstrating a commitment to excellence and patient-centered care.
- Demonstrate accountability for your own professional development, staying up-to-date with the latest techniques and technologies.
- Graduate from an accredited Surgical Technologist program, with certification from the NBSTSA within 90 days of hire.
- Ability to work well with internal and external customers, demonstrating excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fine motor skills, with the ability to wear a surgical mask and gloves.
- Auditory skills, with the ability to hear individuals whose speech may be muffled.
- CPR certification, with the ability to work under stressful conditions and in difficult situations.
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including holidays and take call as needed.
