Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team at United Medical Center - Nursing. As a Surgical Technologist in our ER department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our fast-paced ER environment.

Responsibilities
  • Assist surgeons and anesthesiologists during surgical procedures
  • Prepare and maintain surgical equipment and instruments
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the surgical team
  • Provide emotional support to patients and their families
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements
  • BCLS certification
  • ACLS certification
  • CNA license, EMT cert, or PCT cert
  • 1 year minimum experience in a surgical setting
Work Environment

Our ER department is a fast-paced environment with a quick turnover. You must be able to adjust and adapt quickly to changing situations. You will work well independently and accept delegation from clinical nurses. You must be a team player, adaptable, and able to work in a variety of settings.
