Mercy is seeking a skilled Orthopedic Nurse to join our Med Surg team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to patients with orthopedic conditions, including those undergoing total hips, total knees, and traumatic injuries.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Monitor and report patient progress, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in orthopedic nursing.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment by promoting open communication, teamwork, and a culture of excellence.
- Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
- Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of hire.
- American Heart Association Healthcare Provider card or completion of a course within probationary period.
- ACLS and BLS certifications or obtain within 90 days of hire.
