Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Care Agency Director to oversee the operations of Bloomwell Health Home Care Agency. The Agency Director will be responsible for administrative and leadership functions, ensuring the delivery of high-quality home care services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Improve efficiency and quality in delivering home care services.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Supervise the Service Supervisor and ensure all job duties are fully completed.
  • Plan, organize, direct, and annually evaluate agency operations to ensure adequate and appropriate care in compliance with state regulations.
  • Ensure program personnel are regularly updated on current practices and information.
  • Oversee staff development, including orientation, in-service education, continuing education, and evaluation of staff.
  • Collaborate with or ensure the supervisor has all necessary elements in place for effective management.
  • Act on reports and recommendations from authorized planning, regulatory, or inspection agencies. Create action plans based on survey findings.
  • Ensure staff education, evaluations, and provide access to all applicable regulations, including contractual providers, onboarding, and annual competency training.
  • Maintain current organizational chart reflecting lines of authority down to patient level.
  • Supervise and evaluate patient satisfaction surveys for all individuals served by agency.

Requirements:
  • A health care practitioner as defined in G.S a)
  • An individual who has at least two years of supervisory or management experience in home care or any other provider licensed pursuant to G.S. 131E or G.S. 122C
  • Valid nursing license in the state of NC
  • Experience in non-medical home care is preferred or a related field
  • Proficiency with technology and software
Work Environment:

Part-time position with flexible schedule. Choose your own hours. Work location: In person.

Pay: $85.00 per hour. Expected hours: 10 – 30 per week.
