Position Summary

The role of a Business Analyst is crucial within Empower Pharmacy, enabling strategic decision-making and operational excellence throughout our manufacturing processes. By examining sales and demand patterns, you will provide essential insights that inform batch scheduling, enhance production efficiency, and uncover strategic growth avenues. Your contributions directly affect our capacity to deliver high-quality medications efficiently, aligning seamlessly with our core values of prioritizing health, ensuring service excellence, maintaining superior quality standards, and fostering innovation in pharmaceutical manufacturing.

In addition to data analysis, you will oversee vital reporting tools, including Monthly and Quarterly Operations Performance metrics and daily scorecards. These instruments not only track our operational health but also propel continuous improvement initiatives aimed at boosting productivity and minimizing operational costs. Your responsibilities extend beyond data analysis; you will work closely with sales, research and development (R&D), and product development teams to evaluate the feasibility and cost implications of new product launches. This collaborative effort ensures that our product offerings remain competitive and responsive to market demands, further solidifying Empower Pharmacy's status as a leader in pharmaceutical innovation.

As a vital member of cross-functional teams, you will advocate for initiatives designed to enhance processes and outcomes across the organization. Duties and Responsibilities
  • Analyze sales and demand trends to assist operations in making strategic decisions regarding batch cadence, scheduling, and opportunities within the manufacturing operation.
  • Manage reporting tools such as monthly operations performance, quarterly operations performance, daily scorecards, and other key performance indicators (KPIs) that reflect manufacturing operations.
  • Collaborate with sales, R&D, product development, and other departments to assess the feasibility and cost of new product introductions.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to enhance processes and outcomes.
  • Generate graphical data for inclusion in presentations for senior leadership and executive teams.
  • Champion initiatives for RFT, OPEX reduction, and other KPI teams by developing tools that facilitate better communication across the organization.
  • Support sales operations by reviewing proposals and preparing project cost analyses.
  • Assist with both internal and external projects, depending on candidate experience, leading to larger operational scale, improved fulfillment timing, and cost reductions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Knowledge and Skills
  • Familiarity with PowerBI, Oracle, and Salesforce is advantageous.
  • Previous experience managing KPI reporting tools and creating clear communications from data.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to conduct thorough data analysis.
  • Ability to identify trends and manipulate data to uncover underlying issues affecting processes.
  • Application of statistical methods to comprehend process variations and optimize performance.
  • Collaborate with partners in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Validation, Visual Inspection and Labeling, Dispensing, Warehousing, etc.
