About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Health, Safety, and Environmental Manager to join our team at Allan Myers. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees, contractors, and the public.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective safety programs and procedures to minimize risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular site observations and inspections to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with operations teams to integrate safety into all aspects of project planning and execution.
  • Provide training and guidance to employees and contractors on safety protocols and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain accurate records of safety incidents, near misses, and corrective actions.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in health, safety, and environmental management.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., HSE, environmental science, engineering) or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a HSE role, with a strong background in safety management and compliance.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel as required.
  • Knowledge of OSHA, MSHA, and DOT regulations, as well as industry best practices.
