NET Full Stack Developer with Python

We are seeking a talented Software Developer to join our team at Voya Financial. As a key member of our technology team, you will play a critical role in building and maintaining our cloud-based data platform for Asset Management. Your expertise in Python, Java, and.NET will enable you to develop front-to-back solutions with strong skills in middle-layer and API development on the Microsoft stack.

The Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop new systems and maintain and modify existing systems as required.
  • Participate in process analysis, design, implementations, and commissioning phases.
  • Prepare technical specifications and design specifications.
  • Provide support in system acceptance testing and validation activities.
  • Review and recommend improvements to existing system designs.
  • Analyze project requirements and accordingly provide technical and functional recommendations.
  • Facilitate continuous process improvements within the team.
  • Recommend new technologies to improve system performance and reliability to senior leadership.

Requirements:

  • Software engineering and development experience required.
  • Experience across multiple platforms/technologies and languages including Python, Java, and.NET.
  • Programming, Database and Software systems experience in a financial environment.
  • Overall knowledge of various aspects of data engineering (databases, cloud data, data migration, data modeling, and middle layer architectures).
  • Investment Management background required.
  • Experience in building data analytics applications.
  • Experience in large-scale integrated online RDBMSs across multiple hardware and software platforms.
  • Experience in new computing architectures and implementation of networked computing structures, APIs, and User Interfaces.
  • Experience developing Unix, and/or Windows based applications, strong component, process and agile development methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Cloud data knowledge and experience (Azure preferred).
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering or a directly related field.
