Compensation: $18.50/hour

Position Summary:

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for executing various physical and administrative tasks related to the shipping, receiving, storage, distribution, and order fulfillment of merchandise and materials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducts quality inspections on incoming and outgoing shipments.
  • Prepares and packages products for dispatch in compliance with company policies.
  • Utilizes ERP systems for processing shipments.
  • Maintains the Freight Management System for parcel and freight logistics.
  • Operates handheld RF scanners and Warehouse Management Systems for order fulfillment.
  • Ensures inventory accuracy through regular checks.
  • Handles hazardous materials in accordance with safety regulations.
  • Adheres to 5S principles for safety and cleanliness.
  • Completes mandatory safety training and follows established protocols.
  • Employs Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.
  • Capable of lifting up to 75 pounds without assistance.
  • Possesses certification for operating powered industrial trucks, including various types of forklifts.
  • Manages repair processes and addresses shipping issues within the repair systems.
  • Gains knowledge of specific products, processes, and operational metrics; follows work instructions to meet productivity and quality standards.
  • Contributes to continuous improvement initiatives and documentation of work instructions.
  • Addresses basic problems under supervision and performs preliminary analyses.
  • Engages in equipment evaluation and maintenance activities.
  • Creates expense orders for internal repairs.
  • Understands ISO requirements and ensures compliance during audits.
  • Performs additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • At least 1 year of relevant work experience.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong communication abilities.
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Familiarity with desktop operations.
  • Basic mathematical skills, including the ability to read a ruler.
  • Essential reading and writing skills.
