Compensation: Starting at $22.00/hr, based on experience and skill level.
Rogers Group Inc. is in search of a General Utility Worker to assist across our asphalt production facilities. Additional perks include safety equipment, paid holidays, and vacation time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general labor tasks and maintain cleanliness in production areas, including shoveling materials and assisting with plant operations.
- Receive training for various entry-level production roles and provide coverage during staff absences and peak production periods.
- Identify and report equipment issues to management.
- Conduct light maintenance and ensure proper functioning of conveyor systems.
- Complete pre-shift equipment inspections as required.
- Support fellow team members as needed and undertake additional tasks as assigned by management.
- Adhere to all company policies and safety regulations.
- Ability to maintain a safe working environment.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
- Willingness to perform a variety of tasks, including maintenance and equipment operation.
- Quick learner with a proactive attitude.
- Availability to work weekends and overtime as necessary.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screening.
