Job Summary:
The Front Desk Clerk - Floater is a vital member of our team at Foundation Communities, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our supportive housing properties during evenings and weekends. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fulfill administrative and receptionist duties, including answering phones, responding to property inquiries, and managing emails.
- Provide exceptional customer service to residents, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Interact with residents to communicate community policies and rules, ensuring a safe and respectful living environment.
- Respond to resident problems and emergencies, exercising good judgment and self-control.
- Prepare documentation, such as incident reports and shift reports, as needed.
- Monitor sign-in/sign-out processes, verify photo identification for guests, and input work orders for unit repairs.
- Ensure confidentiality of resident records and information.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- Reliable transportation in working condition
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, time management, and human relation skills
- Ability to exercise good judgment and self-control
- Enthusiasm, good attitude, trustworthiness, personal integrity, and honesty
- Ability to speak and write in English
Preferred Requirements:
- Bilingual (English, Spanish, Arabic, Pashto)
Working Conditions:
Occasional exposure to blood or other potentially infectious materials may be expected. May be asked to clean up bodily fluids with appropriate training and personal protective equipment provided.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to sit for long periods, perform several rounds at the property, walk up and down multiple flights of stairs daily, and lift up to 30 pounds at a time.
Compensation:
$17.51/hour
