Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist customers in selecting parts for truck repairs based on their specific requirements.
  • Provide information on services available for truck repairs.
  • Ensure a welcoming atmosphere by greeting all customers promptly.
  • Address customer inquiries and fulfill their requests efficiently.
  • Identify opportunities to promote additional parts and services.
  • Adhere to dealership protocols for processing cash, credit, and check transactions.
  • Retrieve parts for customers and manage returns effectively.
  • Maintain an organized and clean parts department.
  • Document all sales and customer transactions accurately.
  • Support the Parts Manager in creating appealing merchandise displays.
  • Uphold the standards of the retail sales area to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Perform routine cleaning tasks to maintain product and area cleanliness.
  • Utilize dealership equipment and resources safely and effectively.

Customer Service Expectations:

  • Greet customers immediately in a courteous manner.
  • Assist in resolving customer complaints and ensure satisfactory outcomes.
  • Demonstrate fairness and honesty in all customer interactions, reflecting our commitment to superior service.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of three years of experience with heavy-duty trucks and parts.
  • Experience with OEM dealerships is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of truck engines, transmissions, and rear axles.
  • Familiarity with after-market vendors.
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
  • Proficient in relevant computer applications.
  • Ability to effectively listen and interpret customer needs.
  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to pass a post-offer drug test and physical examination.

Compensation:

  • Hourly wage ranging from $15 to $16, based on experience and qualifications.
