We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Housekeeping Specialist to join our team at Marriott International, Inc. As a key member of our housekeeping department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and quality in our guest rooms and public areas.
Key Responsibilities- Respond promptly to guest requests and provide exceptional customer service.
- Restock and maintain housekeeping carts and supplies.
- Enter guest rooms in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring that all amenities and supplies are replenished.
- Replace linens, towels, and other essentials in guest rooms.
- Clean bathrooms, including sinks, toilets, showers, and bathtubs.
- Remove trash, dirty linens, and room service items from guest rooms.
- Check appliances and furniture for cleanliness and functionality.
- Dust, polish, and remove marks from walls and furnishings.
- Vacuum carpets and perform floor care duties in guest rooms and public areas.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- No prior work experience necessary, but a willingness to learn and take direction is essential.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance.
- Ability to push and pull a loaded housekeeping cart and other work-related equipment over sloping and uneven surfaces.
- Ability to stand, sit, kneel, or walk for extended periods across an entire work shift.
- Ability to grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
