About the Role:

The Operations Manager is responsible for driving results through day-to-day management of the service and support teams. Assist the General Manager in optimizing the team through training, development, recruiting, and retention.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and implement processes and procedures that align with company objectives.
  • Optimize the field workforce through regular training and coaching sessions.
  • Work with service supervisors to evaluate technician skill levels and ensure they match scheduled tasks.
  • Order materials and supplies for projects and truck restock, confirming receipt prior to scheduling and dispatching staff to customer jobs.
  • Track material and labor costs against budgets and conduct weekly reviews to ensure teams are on track to meet monthly goals.
  • Provide individual coaching to train employees in soft skills and run weekly training meetings.
  • Act as a mentor to encourage individual growth and development.
Qualifications:
  • At least 5 years of successful management and related technical experience.
  • Highly motivated and confident leader with excellent communication and active listening skills.
  • Ability to build a team of technicians who deliver quality work and connect with the community to identify new opportunities and recruit talent.
  • Customer service focus and mindset, with exceptional problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Highly organized and able to act quickly while maintaining attention to detail.
