Job Summary

The Prep Cook will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen. This individual will be responsible for planning, preparing, and setting up food production for breakfast, lunch, and dinner menu items and specials, adhering to our high standards and plating guide specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare vegetables and other cooking elements for meal preparation during a shift, ensuring quality and efficiency.
  • Store items in the refrigerator, cover items left in the open air, and prepare special food elements ahead of time for quick access and use in cooking.
  • May be responsible for preparing a certain portion of a dish, working with speed and efficiency to ensure proper and timely output of restaurant menu items.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen area throughout the shift, adhering to our high standards.
  • Complete assigned prep work for stocking and set up of station, breaking down and cleaning the station thoroughly every day.
  • Ensure proper rotation of all products to par, labeling, day dotting, and signing all products, obtaining the Chef/Manager signature on all products.
  • Must be dressed and well-groomed in Company-approved uniform at all times, observing all SRC Policies and Procedures.
  • Must wear approved manufacturer-certified slip-resistant or non-slip shoes at all times while working.
Requirements
  • High school or 1 year similar experience preferred.
  • Must be able to clearly and effectively communicate in English.
Work Environment

This role requires the ability to walk and stand for hours at a time, lift and carry up to 50 lbs. We are an equal opportunity employer and welcome applications from diverse candidates.
