Position: Senior Java Cloud Developer, FinOps

Key Responsibilities:

· Design and implement microservices and processes to monitor, analyze, and predict cloud expenditures across various platforms including AWS, OCI, and Azure.

· Collaborate with product and development teams to gain insights into cloud usage patterns and identify both technical and functional optimization opportunities.

· Generate regular reports and insights regarding cloud spending trends, optimization initiatives, and cost-saving accomplishments.

· Work alongside development teams to enhance application performance while minimizing cloud costs without compromising service quality.

· Engage in the design and deployment of scalable and efficient cloud infrastructure solutions.

· Lead educational initiatives to promote best practices in cloud cost management and efficiency across teams.

· Foster a culture of financial accountability and cost-awareness within the technology department.

Qualifications:

· A Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

· At least 3 years of experience in development with a focus on cloud engineering and financial management.

· Demonstrated expertise as a Java Developer with comprehensive knowledge of the SpringBoot framework.

· Familiarity with database design principles and data modeling for RDBMS (MySQL) or NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra).

· Proficient in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI) with a strong emphasis on FinOps best practices.

Preferred Skills:

· Practical experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.

· Solid understanding of DevOps methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).

Compensation & Benefits:

Salary: $130,000 to $170,000 (potential for higher based on experience and skill level)

  • Base salary plus bonus and annual salary increases
