Cashier Equestrian Tack Store Job Description

Mary's Tack & Feed, a renowned equestrian and pet store in Del Mar, is seeking a skilled Cashier Equestrian Tack Store Associate to join their team. As a key member of the sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, operating a cash register, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ring customer purchases using Point of Sale software and scanners
  • Provide front-line customer service, answering questions and resolving issues
  • Balance cash drawers and process special orders
  • Assist with merchandising and stocking of equestrian and pet products
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive store atmosphere
Requirements:
  • Must be comfortable working a register and handling cash transactions
  • Equestrian experience is a plus, but not required
  • Bi-lingual skills are helpful, but not necessary
  • Must be able to work weekends and flexible hours
  • Detail-oriented and friendly, with excellent communication skills

Compensation:

$17.00 per hour to start, with opportunities for hourly pay increases as you train and grow with the company
