We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Direct Support Professional to join our team at RHA Health Services. As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, mental health, and/or substance use needs to live their best lives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote healthy living and prevent illness and accidents.
- Support individuals in identifying and achieving their goals and desired outcomes.
- Assist with personal care and daily living tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Provide transportation to appointments and community outings.
- Teach independent living skills and promote decision-making about living, work, and social relationships.
- Document care provided and maintain accurate records.
- Collaborate with the care team to ensure seamless support and services.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Valid driver's license (if required for transportation).
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and work in a team environment.
