Role Summary

We are in search of a committed attorney with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience. The perfect candidate will possess a varied background in areas such as Criminal Defense, Family Law, Immigration, Public Interest, or Legal Aid. This role presents an exceptional opportunity for an attorney who is passionate about social justice and seeks fulfilling work without the constraints of billable hour requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee a caseload focused on Delinquency and Dependency issues.
  • Perform legal research, draft necessary documents, and represent clients in court.
  • Work collaboratively with social workers, counselors, and other relevant parties to provide comprehensive support to clients.
  • Advocate for the interests of juveniles, ensuring their rights are upheld and their voices are amplified.
Qualifications
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Active membership in the California State Bar.
  • Genuine enthusiasm for utilizing litigation skills in a courtroom setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
