We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team in the Intensive Surgical Care Unit at Halifax Health. As a RN Resident, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and collaborating with our interdisciplinary team to achieve exceptional patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Assess, collect, and document patient data to identify nursing diagnoses and develop individualized care plans.
- Establish, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care and discharge plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Provide responsible and accountable nursing care based on established clinical nursing practice standards and the Florida Nurse Practice Act.
- Engage in collaborative relationships with peers and other professional disciplines to achieve shared goals and objectives.
- No license is required upon initial hire, but an RN license in the State of Florida must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing with an Associate's or Bachelor's degree.
- Certifications as required by individual unit/area.
- Professionalism in interpersonal communication skills with patients, patient families, colleagues, physicians, and ancillary department personnel.
