The Housekeeping Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of guest rooms. This role requires attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure guest rooms are clean and tidy, including making beds, changing linens, and restocking amenities.
- Follow a set pattern for daily cleaning to ensure thoroughness and efficiency.
- Check rooms for damages, furniture, and equipment, and report any issues to the supervisor.
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to guest questions and requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate with other housekeeping staff to ensure seamless service and maintain a positive team environment.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
- Service orientation and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to read and understand directions on cleaning chemicals.
- Ability to use chemicals and equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
- Weekend evening and holiday availability is a must.
