Job Summary

The Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) is a leading non-profit, bipartisan public policy organization dedicated to providing strategic insights and practical policy solutions to decision-makers. We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Multimedia Production Specialist to join our dynamic and fast-paced team in Washington D.C.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as primary video editor for CSIS vertical video series, including Asked and Answered, and YouTube versions of various CSIS podcasts
  • Produce videos for CSIS video series, including The ReCap and Testify
  • Source B-roll and music for CSIS video products, and assist with pre-production research as needed
  • Assist with studio operations for video and audio recordings
  • Edit full-length podcast episodes and other audio features using Adobe Audition
  • Curate video and audio content on our websites, social media platforms, and other content delivery networks
  • Lead production on an internship capstone audio or video project
  • Assist our developers, producers, and designers with other tasks as needed
Requirements
  • B.A./B.S in a relevant field (or rising senior) OR equivalent multimedia production experience;
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, including operating in a fast-paced environment and managing competing priorities;
  • Adobe Suite experience a plus;
  • Strong attention to detail, initiative, and follow-through skills
  • Eligible to work in the United States
Work Environment

This position will be based out of our Washington D.C. headquarters and is expected to be in-office 3+ days per week. The physical demands are representative of those that must be met by an employee working in an office environment.
