Key Responsibilities

As an STNA, you will provide care to residents under the guidance and supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Monitoring and recording vital signs.
  • Measuring and documenting height, weight, and fluid intake/output.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe environment for residents.
  • Assisting with personal hygiene, grooming, and toileting needs.
  • Supporting residents with meals and hydration.
  • Observing residents' skin conditions during care and reporting any changes to the licensed nurse; providing necessary skin care.
  • Addressing residents' mental health and social service needs.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • STNA certification IS MANDATORY.
