Job Description

This role involves providing companionship, supporting daily living tasks, and maintaining a safe environment for our clients. You will work collaboratively with internal and external professionals to ensure our clients receive the best possible care and support.

  • Develop meaningful relationships with clients through shared activities and experiences.
  • Support clients in their daily lives, encouraging independence and self-advocacy.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a safe and supportive environment for all clients.
  • Document client progress and maintain accurate case notes.
  • Participate in ongoing trainings and staff meetings to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • Contribute to a team-oriented approach to delivering exceptional support services.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current CPR certification and recent TB test.
  • Reliable transportation to and from work.
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is beneficial but not required.
  • A valid driver's license, personal vehicle, and insurance if driving is involved.
  • Pass a federal and state fingerprint background check.
