Job Description
This role involves providing companionship, supporting daily living tasks, and maintaining a safe environment for our clients. You will work collaboratively with internal and external professionals to ensure our clients receive the best possible care and support.
- Develop meaningful relationships with clients through shared activities and experiences.
- Support clients in their daily lives, encouraging independence and self-advocacy.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a safe and supportive environment for all clients.
- Document client progress and maintain accurate case notes.
- Participate in ongoing trainings and staff meetings to enhance your skills and knowledge.
- Contribute to a team-oriented approach to delivering exceptional support services.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A current CPR certification and recent TB test.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is beneficial but not required.
- A valid driver's license, personal vehicle, and insurance if driving is involved.
- Pass a federal and state fingerprint background check.
