Position Overview
We are on the lookout for a skilled Analog Power Systems Engineer to become a vital part of our innovative team at Viasat. This position entails the design, development, and rigorous testing of analog and DC/DC power conversion circuits tailored for a variety of electronic applications, specifically in military and aerospace sectors.
Primary Responsibilities
- Engage in the design, development, and evaluation of analog and power conversion circuits.
- Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to achieve project goals.
- Facilitate the successful transition of products from development to production.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in the design of analog and power conversion systems.
- Expertise in SPICE-based simulation tools and circuit analysis methodologies.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Willingness to travel domestically up to 10% of the time.
Desirable Attributes
- A Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Power Electronics.
- Possession of an active Secret or Top Secret Security Clearance.
- Experience in military applications and adherence to relevant standards.
- Understanding of power system architecture.
Compensation
The compensation range for this role is between $132,000 and $230,000 annually, complemented by a suite of benefits and incentives based on individual experience and qualifications.
