Job Summary:

As a CT Technologist at ThreePDS Inc., you will be responsible for obtaining high-quality CT images of patients. You will demonstrate competence in following established scanning protocols and adjust them as required. You will also ensure compliance with radiation safety guidelines and utilize Personal Protective Equipment appropriately. Additionally, you will perform computer operations, verify proper charges, and render patient care professionally and courteously. You will assist the radiologist in administering medication, contrast agents, and performing biopsies. You will review each exam for technical accuracy and complete the verification process in PACS. You will also maintain strict confidentiality regarding employees and patients according to HIPAA Policy and Procedure.

Key Responsibilities:

Obtain quality CT images of patients
Follow established scanning protocols and adjust as required
Comply with radiation safety guidelines and utilize Personal Protective Equipment
Perform computer operations and verify proper charges
Render patient care professionally and courteously
Assist the radiologist in administering medication, contrast agents, and performing biopsies
Review each exam for technical accuracy and complete the verification process in PACS
Maintain strict confidentiality regarding employees and patients according to HIPAA Policy and Procedure

Requirements:

Ability to obtain quality CT images of patients

Working Conditions:

This position requires working in a fast-paced environment with frequent exposure to radiation. You will be required to wear Personal Protective Equipment and follow established safety protocols.

Education and Experience:

A degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field is required. You must have experience working in a radiology department and be certified in CT scanning.
