The Pacific Companies, recognized as a leading Affordable Housing Developer, is in search of a motivated, detail-oriented, and organized individual to fulfill the role of Contract Administrator within its construction division, Pacific West Builders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Management and processing of essential documents, including:
- Project Bidding
- Subcontracts and related exhibits
- Work orders, purchase orders, and change orders
- Requests for Information (RFIs) and submittals
- Construction drawings and plan room documentation
- Safety manuals and project guidelines for superintendents
- Management of subcontractor relationships and communications
- Licensing requirements
- Ensuring the acquisition and renewal of business and contractor licenses
- Engaging with subcontractors for outreach and communication
- Additional tasks as assigned
- Experience in the construction sector as part of a corporate team.
- Background in multifamily housing is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of MBE/WBE, prevailing wage regulations, insurance requirements, and energy efficiency documentation.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Adobe, Excel, and social media platforms.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
- Ability to perform Internet-based research effectively.
- Prior experience with SmartBid and Condoc software
Documentation proving eligibility to work in the United States is required.
