Job Description:

As a Paramedic Firefighter at Coweta County, you will play a vital role in our emergency response team. You will respond to emergency calls, provide medical care to patients, and operate fire trucks and other emergency vehicles.

The ideal candidate will possess Georgia Paramedic Certification, Pediatric Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation certifications. You will also need to obtain Firefighter II, National Incident Management Systems 100, 200, 700, 800 certifications within one year.

Our estimated annual salary for this position is approximately $43,000, based on a 40-hour workweek and $20.50 per hour wage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide emergency medical services, including patient assessments, treatment, and transport
  • Operate fire trucks and other emergency vehicles
  • Maintain equipment and apparatus
  • Participate in training exercises and drills
