Job Summary

AquaKids is seeking a highly motivated Pool Attendant - Water Safety Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for ensuring the well-being and safety of our students, parents, and staff while providing an exceptional experience in our heated indoor pool.

Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and act during birthday parties and other events, utilizing knowledge learned from American Red Cross training.
  • Maintain constant and uninterrupted surveillance of the pool area.
  • Check and record chemicals as necessary.
  • Ensure the best possible experience for all participants.
Requirements:
  • You must be 16 years of age or older.
  • You must be able to complete a 300-yard swim and 2 minutes of treading water.
  • Lifeguard & CPR certification is preferred but not required (will certify right candidate).
  • You must be available to work Saturday afternoons (3pm-8:30pm).
  • You must pass a drug test and background screen.
Qualifications:
  • You love working with children and being around water.
  • You can set an example of excellence and take initiative when needed.
  • You possess excellent verbal and written skills.
  • You can recognize and solve problems effectively.
