Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team at Aerotek. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining computer numerical control (CNC) machines to produce precision parts and tools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and design models to ensure accurate production.
  • Set up and operate CNC machines, ensuring they are running at the correct speed and feed rate to achieve optimal results.
  • Monitor machine operations to detect any issues or errors, and perform routine maintenance to prevent downtime.
  • Inspect and measure finished products to ensure they meet specifications, and make adjustments as needed.
  • Collaborate with the production team to ensure efficient workflow and meet production deadlines.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a CNC Machinist, with a strong understanding of mechanical principles and computer programming.
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings, and communicate effectively with the production team.
  • Mechanical aptitude and good math skills, with experience using precision tools and equipment.
  • Understanding of computer programming and CAD/CAM software, with experience using CNC machines and related tools.
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with completion of vocational training or an apprenticeship preferred.
