Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Receptionist to join our team at CJE SeniorLife. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, handling incoming and outgoing calls, and maintaining a positive and respectful atmosphere for our residents, visitors, and callers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Greet and respond to all CJE residents, visitors, and callers in a pleasant, dignified, and respectful manner.
  • Communication: Maintain communication amongst staff and residents via various systems, respond appropriately to the emergency switchboard, and coordinate activities with other CJE staff for effective and efficient service.
  • Administrative Tasks: Perform administrative tasks including data entry, mailings, and processing paperwork, and assist in the development and implementation of office procedures.
  • Switchboard Operations: Operate the switchboard and speak clearly, and use various computer programs to manage tasks and communicate with staff and residents.
  • Customer Service Culture: Display behavior that creates a customer service culture at CJE by understanding the needs of our clients and customers and demonstrating a strong bias toward service, quality, and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED, one year of related work experience in an office environment, and strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations, and ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Computer Skills: Strong computer skills including Internet Explorer and MS Office, and ability to operate the switchboard and speak clearly.
