Responsibilities
  • Instructional Excellence: Prepare engaging lesson plans, effectively utilize learning management systems, and objectively assess student performance.
  • Student Interaction: Create a nurturing classroom environment, provide feedback, support student development, and maintain accurate records.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay informed about the latest instructional methodologies, attend workshops, and actively engage in ongoing professional development.
  • Additional Contributions: Participate in campus activities, events, and meetings, assist with maintenance of an orderly classroom and lab, and contribute to a positive campus culture.
Qualifications
  • Must hold an active and unencumbered license to practice professional nursing in the state of employment.
  • Minimum of 3 years of clinical nursing experience.
  • Must have a Bachelor's degree in nursing with a clinical component; Masters degree preferred.
  • Must have never been disciplined by any Board of Nursing in any jurisdiction.
  • Must meet approval of the Board of Nursing to hold the position.
  • Must meet all regulatory and corporate qualifications.
  • Previous experience teaching nursing students preferred.
