About the Job
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic industry, where you will have the chance to build lasting customer relationships and contribute to the success of our team. You will be responsible for:
- Preparing and reviewing job files to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Contacting customers before and after service to ensure satisfaction and develop additional prospects
- Prospecting and developing new sales leads in assigned verticals
- Creating, managing, and maintaining key relationships with insurance agents, adjusters, plumbers, and other stakeholders
- Continuously building product knowledge and refining sales techniques for specific relationship types and verticals
- Documenting and reporting on key referral-source relationships weekly and monthly
- Participating in collections efforts with non-residential customers when necessary
- Resolving issues with customers
Requirements and Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent;
- 1-2 years experience in the Disaster Restoration field; preferred
- 6-12 months of sales experience or prior sales training is highly desired, but not required
- Valid Driver's License and satisfactory driving record
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Good customer service skills
- Highly motivated, strong work ethic, and enjoy the selling process
- Build rapport easily and establish trust, leading to lasting customer relationships
- Can effectively present information to customers one-on-one and in small groups
- Local and regional travel may be required for trade shows, training, networking events, and for selling services immediately after catastrophic events
- Some work required outside of traditional working hours to network and represent the company at business social events
- Skilled in using social media and other web-based sales tools
Compensation and Benefits
The estimated salary range for this role is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Additionally, you will be eligible for benefits, including health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, and paid time off.
