Position Overview:

This role is pivotal in executing high-quality routine preventive maintenance service on power generation systems, switchgear, and uninterrupted power supply (UPS) systems to meet customer expectations. The position also entails completing all necessary documentation associated with operational processes accurately and promptly. Relevant experience is highly valued, and a clean driving record is essential. Our objective is to achieve 100% uptime for power equipment. Planned maintenance is crucial for optimal efficiency and reliability. Deliver exemplary maintenance services on generators to ensure operational costs meet or exceed customer standards. Utilize HOLT CAT's digital tools to identify and report issues related to equipment performance, thereby maximizing uptime. Additionally, the role requires effective collaboration with HOLT's central dispatch team for logistical coordination and direct communication with customers to confirm job specifications, locations, and timelines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Promote and exemplify HOLT's Values Based Leadership (VBL) tools and processes to ensure alignment with our Vision, Values, and Mission.
  • Perform high-quality preventive field maintenance and electronic inspections on generators, automatic transfer switches (ATS), and engines.
  • Maintain and communicate an effective field service schedule to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Challenge oneself with a growth mindset to achieve peak performance and quality.
  • Adapt to changes in schedules and timelines with understanding.
  • Accurately collect, package, and submit required compartment fluid samples daily.
  • Ensure the service truck is well-maintained and presents a professional image to customers.
  • Achieve a Work Order Efficiency of 5% or higher during the review period.
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
  • Adhere to all safety policies and company standards at all times.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Self-motivated individual with a high energy level, capable of working independently or as part of a team in a field environment.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, supervisors, and customers.
  • Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to interact with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Proficiency with current computer software and related hardware.
  • Basic knowledge of generators, ATS, engines, and related equipment.
  • Ability to read and comprehend equipment service manuals and lubrication charts.
  • Understanding of preventive maintenance practices and procedures.
Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Up to one year of experience in field or shop preventive maintenance of generators, ATS, engines, and related equipment preferred.
  • Valid driver's license with a safe driving record required.
Travel Requirements:
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% for overnight assignments.
