MRI Technologist Job Description

At Norwalk Hospital Association, we are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for operating MRI equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct MRI scans and produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort during MRI procedures.
  • Operate MRI equipment and maintain it in good working condition.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient information and MRI scan results.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology.
  • Minimum of 3 years of MRI experience (GE preferred).
  • ARRT Certification in Radiography and MRI within 1 year of hire.
  • CT State License.
  • CPR certification.
  • Maintains continuing education requirements (24 CE credits per biennium).
