Mobile Equipment Technician

We are seeking a skilled Mobile Equipment Mechanic to join our team at Heidelberg Materials US, Inc. in Bristol, TX. As a Mobile Equipment Mechanic, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our mobile equipment fleet.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel and gasoline engines, power trains, and hydraulic systems.
- Diagnose and repair electrical systems, suspension, and steering systems.
- Perform specialized component repairs, including hydraulic and mechanical drives.
- Conduct road calls in a safe and professional manner when necessary.
- Maintain good housekeeping and keep company records and complete work orders on equipment.
- Minimum of one year of experience repairing heavy equipment or vocational training.
- Ability to write legibly to complete work orders and other required paperwork.
- Basic knowledge of truck air brake systems and ability to diagnose and repair problems.
- Basic hand and air tools to repair mobile equipment a plus.
- Prefer high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment with varying temperatures and weather conditions. The ability to lift and carry up to 75-100 lbs. and work in confined spaces is essential.
